Climate

The climate in Florida is subtropical.

The average annual temperature is 71.8 degrees Fahrenheit. In reality, there are only three seasons:

Spring, Summer, Fall

The average temperature in Palm Coast:
From January to March is 63.5 degrees
From April to June is 77.6 degrees
From July to September is 83.3 degrees
From October to December—68.1 degrees.

The majority of rains and thunderstorms occur in the period between June and October, usually in the late afternoon, and pass quickly, cooling the summer heat. An amazing and unusual combination of pine, oak, and palm trees fill the air with a unique aroma of freshness and purity.

Our region is less susceptible to hurricanes than other areas of Florida because Gulf Stream, the warm current, does not pass by the Florida coast at this latitude, thereby not creating the conditions for hurricane formation.
